THE MISLIN GENUS AND THE ORDER ON THE HUREWICZ HOMOMORPHISM

Abstract:
Let
G(X)
be the Mislin genus of X with a
nilpotent space of finite type. It is shown that
there is an injection from G(U(n))
to G(WX),
where X is the Grassmann manifold. We
also find out the property of the order of the
cokernel of the Hurewicz homomorphism. |
