Abstract: In this study, an analog-digital circuit for motion detection is proposed based on the vertebrate retina. The results with the measured results of the test circuit constructed with discrete metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) transistors, the NOT circuit and the XOR circuit show that the proposed circuit can generate pulsed voltage when the object (light) moves on the circuit. The prototype of the monitoring system is fabricated in this study. The test circuit is applied to the input part of the system. The experimental result of the prototype shows that the system has good performance. |
