Determining the time rate of change of unit vector in normal and tangential directions, an elegant way to find out the acceleration in circular motion is presented. Avoiding the figures with more geometric details, this way highlights the physical significance of normal and tangential accelerations in circular motion. It is of great benefit to train and develop the students’ ability to analyze and solve problems in university physics.
