Abstract: Control systems engineering (control theory) education on the World Wide Web is a research area where few studies have been done. Opportunities for simulation and animation of control systems on the Internet are immense. With the flexibility afforded by the Java language to execute routines written on a server in a client machine in a platform independent manner it is possible to create a vast virtual control systems laboratory. This paper presents an online laboratory developed with interactive experiments designed using the language Java. The web-based control designs are mainly to be used as a tool for educational purposes. |
