Abstract: In this paper,
the numerical solutions of the generalized regularized long-wave equation (RLW) using the multigrid method are
investigated. The difference equation of the generalized regularized long-wave
equation using the finite difference method is obtained. The multigrid method
with the different value of P is applied. The computer codes are used to obtain the numerical
solutions that are compared with the analytical ones to get the absolute errors.
The obtained results are compared with another method using absolute error to
show the deviation between them.
