Abstract: The effect of
Cr-doping on the structure and magnetic transition temperatures of synthesized
at high pressure has been studied by performing X-ray diffraction pattern and
magnetic susceptibility results. The X-ray results at room temperature indicate
that the structures change from rhombohedral to monoclinic as Cr substitute for
Fe in the samples. The high temperature X-ray diffractions exhibit a structural
phase transition in the samples. As a result of Cr-doping, the transition
temperatures decrease with increasing Cr ion in the samples. The magnetic data
reveals an existence of magnetic transition in the samples. The magnetic
ordering temperatures decrease with increasing Cr concentration. Refined lattice
parameters and transition temperatures are presented.
