Abstract: A disk B-spline
curve is a B-spline curve whose control points are disks in a plane. In
practice, the measured data from the same target may be distributed in a small
area. For such data, we propose an interpolation method by disk B-spline
curve. The interpolant we get is a band area that passes through these small
areas. And if the center curves and radius curves of the disk B-spline
are we have that the border curves are In the end of this paper, several
numerical examples are illustrated to show the effectiveness of the proposed
algorithm.
