Abstract: Kohonen networks are implemented to examine the tidal stage impact on water quality measures in a South Carolina (USA) estuarine. Since data set has both temporal and spatial structure with some highly correlated variables, Kohonen Heat Maps are constructed to determine principal components to form basis for predictive studies. |
Keywords and phrases: neural network, intertidal, estuary, dataflow. |
