Abstract: This paper studies variants of ElGamal signature schemes for which a distributed version computationally easier than previous proposals can be given. Its aim is to minimize the computational and memory requirements for the signers, enabling the implementation of signature protocols in smart cards-based platforms. Complexity issues of both classical and elliptic discrete logarithm implementation are analyzed. |
Keywords and phrases: digital signature, sharing secret schemes, homomorphic cryptography, multiparty computation. |
