A DYNAMIC MODEL OF GEOMETRICALLY NONLINEAR TIMOSHENKO BEAM

Abstract:
This paper is concerned with a new dynamic model of a geometrically nonlinear elastic beam. First, the model is derived based upon the finite displacement theory of Timoshenko beam and some linear constitutive laws. Then, some results on the well-posedness of the model are established. |
