MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM PHYSICS PROBLEMS WITHOUT CALCULUS
Some classical and new examples of problem solving, where an extreme value condition is required, are taken in account and/or revisited. The search of non-calculus solution appears pedagogically useful and intriguing. These kinds of problems can be a mind stimulating challenge for a student well experienced with Calculus. A teacher who teaches Maths and Physics together can find in these kind of problems a good link between these two subjects.
