A NOTE ON DEFINITIONS OF THE RANK FOR INTERVAL MATRICES

Abstract:

We discuss various definitions of the rank of interval matrices adopted in the literature. The example shows the shortcomings of one of the versions of this definition. The concept of the strong rank of interval matrices is proposed.
