MULTI-ALLELOMORPHISM IN THE ABO BLOOD GROUPS BY BERNSTEIN REVISITED
In this paper, we revisit the Bernstein’s explanation of the multi-allelomorphism in the ABO blood groups, which is very popular nowadays. Mase derived in the book the Bernstein’s result in the context of Bayesian statistics. However, since the calculation is not complete in the mathematical sense, we give the complete one by use of MATHEMATICA. We also treat a general case and give general mathematical tools.
Our derivation must be fresh to undergraduates. To master multiple techniques is very good for them.
