In the last two decades, a number of methods have been proposed for forecasting enrollments based on fuzzy time series. Most of the fuzzy time series methods presented are for forecasting enrollments [2-5, 8, 15, 17]. In this paper, a modified method is presented based on higher-order fuzzy logical relationship for forecasting. The proposed method is applied for forecasting (i) the enrollment of University of Alabama [9] and (ii) the inventory demand [9]. Comparing with the existing method like Huarng [14], Huarng and Yu [16] and Chen and Chen [9], the error in forecasting using the proposed method is minimum.
