Abstract: An application of Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) based framework on Max-Plus Linear (MPL) representation is developed. This is to control undesirable occurrence state changes of a target system. In a previous work, the concept of time buffers in the CCPM was applied to the MPL framework successfully, assuming the input times are zero. However, the initial schedule may be changed because of uncertainties related to external inputs in such kind of systems. Hence, we develop a framework for systems with various input times. Furthermore, we propose a generalized and simplified method for determining time buffers. |
Keywords and phrases: max-plus linear system, critical chain project management, time buffer, various input times, redefined MPL-CCPM system. |
