The study sought to investigate the influence of a magnetic field, Hall current, Prandtl and Schmidt numbers, as well as thermal radiation on heat and mass transfer by mixed convection over a semi-infinite stretching surface. Appropriate transformations are employed to transform the governing differential equations to non-similar form. The transformed equations are solved numerically by an efficient implicit, iterative finite-difference scheme. A parametric study, illustrating the influence of radiation, Hartmann and Hall parameters, Schmidt number and Prandtl number on the fluid velocity, temperature and concentration, is conducted. We conclude from the study that the flow is appreciably influenced by these factors.
