Abstract: Acceptance sampling procedures are the practical tools for quality assurance applications involving product control. Acceptance sampling systems are advocated when small sample sizes are necessary or desirable towards costlier testing for product quality.
Quality Decision Region (QDR) indexed plan provides a method for designing sampling plan based on range of quality, instead of pointwise description about quality. The QDR indexed plan has been considered for Selection of Repetitive Group Sampling Plan which provides higher probability of acceptance compared with plan designed through quality levels.
Quality decision region proposes wider potential applicability in industry ensuring higher standard of quality attainment for product. This paper provides a new procedure for Selection of Repetitive Group Sampling Plan indexed through Quality Decision Regions. New operating ratios are introduced towards designing such sampling plan. |
Keywords and phrases: repetitive group sampling, quality decision region, probabilistic quality region, limiting quality region, indifference quality region. |
