BIFURCATION ANALYSIS IN AN AGE STRUCTURED PREDATOR-PREY MODEL WITH TIME DELAY

Abstract: In this paper, an age structured predator-prey model with time delay is considered. Its dynamics are studied in terms of local analysis and Hopf bifurcation analysis. By analyzing the associated characteristic transcendental equation, its linear stability is investigated and Hopf bifurcation is demonstrated. The length of delay which preserves the stability of the positive equilibrium is calculated. Some numerical simulation for justifying the analytical findings is also provided. Finally, main conclusions are given. |
