NAMED ENTITY BASED CLUSTERING IN TEXT ADVERTISEMENT MATCHING

Abstract:
Named entity based document clustering model is the method that uses keywords and named entities such as person, location, organization, product within web documents as the clustering feature in text-advertisement matching. This paper examines the property of named entity based document clustering model, analyzes the effects of named entities through various experiments, and shows the effects of the weight according to named entity tags. Moreover, we examine correlation among topic words of clustered sets according to concept level of named entities. Finally, this paper presents optimal feature combination for named entity based document clustering appropriate to applications.
