A NON-BLIND CURVELET BASED WATERMARKING ALGORITHM

Abstract: In this paper, a non-blind curvelet based watermarking algorithm is proposed. The proposed algorithm applies the curvelet transform to decompose the host image into 6-levels bands. The watermark is then encrypted by a 7-4 Hamming code and is added to the specific curvelet coefficients according to a Human Vision System model (HVS). The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can provide excellent robustness against most image processing operations including jpeg compression, histogram equalization, median filtering, Laplacian sharpening and Guassian low-pass filtering. |
