Abstract: Let C be a
weakly closed star-shaped subset of a real Hilbert space Hand be a nonexpansive mapping. Then the
existence and iterative algorithms for fixed points of T
are discussed in this paper. Our results improve and extend the corresponding
results on nonexpansive mappings. Two practical examples are given which
illustrate application of our results.
