Abstract: This
paper is concerned with the existence of positive solutions for the nonlinear
singular third-order three-point boundary value problem
by
calculation of the fixed point index in a cone. We present that there exists a
critical value such that the above problem has at
least one, two positive solutions and has no positive solution for and respectively. Our results are new in
the existing results of third-order three-point boundary value problem.
