Abstract: Using fixed point theorems, we consider existence of multiple
positive solutions for the boundary value problems of the second order ordinary
differential equations on the half line. The main focus is on the one-
dimensional p-Laplacian operator with the possible
solutions (of the associated boundary value problem) that are not concave.
