Abstract: In this paper, we
construct and analyse a new discontinuous Galerkin element method for solving
conservation law First, we present the general
framework of the method. Then we apply it in a linear case and prove the
convergence of the scheme. Numerical results are given and compared with other
methods for the transport equation. Finally, we give numerical results for the
Riemann problem with Burgers’ equations.
