Radical cystectomy for invasive carcinoma of the bladder offers the best long term survival rates coupled with the lowest local recurrence. Controversy prevails on how preoperative delay may affect patient survival. We have studied the survival risks associated with the preoperative delay of bladder cancer patients after radical cystectomy monotherapy in a single tertiary care hospital. We have considered a new Frank copula based simulation technique to replicate data set so that we obtain consistent and more reliable estimates.
