Abstract: Facing to the reality industry, the customer’s orders
in the cutting stock problems often do not have to be filled exactly. In this
paper, we use triangular fuzzy numbers to assign the unfixed of the customer’s
orders. The input minimizations still as the objective function, so that the
column generation used a simple knapsack problem. The main objective is to
fulfill the customer’s orders as much as As a
result, the membership functions of the triangular fuzzy numbers give degrees to
the Also, the linear membership functions defined the membership degree of
the objective function and the constraints. The degrees describe the
satisfaction value of the objective function and the fulfillment of the
constraints. Therefore, the problem becomes maximization of the membership
degrees.
