Abstract: In this paper, a new predictor-corrector method for
solving nonlinear equations is proposed
and analyzed. It is a modification of two-point iterative method [1], which has
two steps with cubic convergence. Real roots of certain nonlinear equations can
be obtained by using this new method. In order to illustrate the efficiency of
this method, several numerical examples are presented. This method can be viewed
as a modification based on existing methods.
