Abstract: In traditional supply chain inventory management, orders are the only information firms exchange, but information technology now allows firms to share demand and inventory data quickly and inexpensively. In order to have an integrated plan, a manufacturer needs to know not only demand information from its customers but also supply information from its suppliers. In this paper, we incorporate information flow in a three-echelon supply chain model with fuzzy customer demands. To solve these models in fuzzy environment, two efficient methods are introduced in the light of different circumstance. In the situation that the fuzzy variables are trapezoidal, the model can be transformed into crisp equivalence model which can be solved easily. Otherwise, when the fuzzy variables are not specific, fuzzy simulation and genetic algorithm are needed for solving these models. At the end of this paper, some numerical examples will be given to show the efficiency of the algorithm. |
