Abstract: This paper presents
efficient approximate method for solving Cauchy type singular integral equation
of the first kind over the finite interval Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind and second kind
with the corresponding weight functions and are
used to approximate the unknown function. It is shown that, the approximate
method gives exact solution when the force function is linear. Numerical results
are given to show the efficiency and accuracy of this method.
