Abstract: We introduce a general
method to extend an expansion formula for univariate real function to the
simplex. We apply this method in two different examples and in particular we
achieve an expansion formula, which require only functional data and it is
related to Lagrange formula, for the nodes We also apply these new expansion formulae to
numerical cubature.
