ANALYTICAL STUDY OF HEAT TRANSFER FLOW FOR A THIRD GRADE FLUID BETWEEN PARALLEL PLATES AND STOKES PROBLEMS

Abstract: In this paper, two problems are considered; the first one is heat transfer analysis of fluid between parallel plates (plane Couette flow), and the other one is the Stokes problem. The nonlinear momentum equation and the energy equation have been solved using the homotopy analysis method. The homotopy analysis method provides us with a new way to obtain series solutions of such problems. Explicit analytical expression has been derived for the velocity field and temperature distribution. |
