The present paper comments on Hilbert�s idea of mathematics education and his teaching styles, and discusses its implications on the innovation in the present education of mathematics from the aspects of mathematics education and teaching methods, explaining that the mathematics teaching should be simplified by beginning with simple examples, focusing on questions and exposing the mathematical thinking process.
