PATH ANALYSIS OF THE CORRELATIONS BETWEEN BLOOD AND EGG-LAYING TRAITS IN JINYUN DUCKS
One hundred of Jinyun Ducks at the age of 60d are used to estimate the phenotypic correlations between contents of the inorganic phosphorusin serum (P), contents of the total protein (TP) in serum, activityof Glutamat-Oxaloacetat-Transaminase (GOT), Glutamat-Pyruvat-Transferase (GPT) and Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in serum as well as three laying traits (total number of eggs of 300d, total weight of eggs of 300d, the average weight of eggs), respectively. Treating the three laying traits as dependent variables, path analysis was conducted in trait correlation of 60d. The results showed that GPT had great positive effects on the two laying traits (0.5417, 0.5210), which is the majorfactor that affects egg-laying traits of Jinyun Ducks.
