A GENERALIZATION OF GREGUS FIXED POINT THEOREM

Abstract

A common fixed point theorem for two linear maps on a closed convex subset C of a complete metrizable topological vector space X is proved which will generalize the theorem proved by Gregus [4]. Also we are able to find an approximation for the common fixed point.
