A GENERALIZATION OF CUMULATIVE SYMMETRY MODELS AND ITS DECOMPOSITION FOR SQUARE CONTINGENCY TABLES WITH ORDERED CATEGORIES

Abstract
For square contingency tables with ordered categories, Tomizawa [13]  considered the cumulative diagonals-parameter symmetry model and Tomizawa et al. [14] considered the cumulative polynomial diagonals-parameter symmetry model with degree 2 (C model). This paper first considers the generalization of the C model and then provides the decomposition of the generalized model. Examples are also given.
