APPROXIMATING ZERO POINTS OF ACCRETIVE OPERATORS IN GENERAL BANACH SPACES

Abstract

We establish a strong convergence theorem to solve a zero point of an accretive operator whose domain is contained in a compact convex subset of an arbitrary Banach space. Using this, we consider the problem of finding a fixed point of a nonexpansive mapping and a common fixed point of a nonexpansive semigroup in the space.
