UNIQUENESS OF SOLUTION IN THE THERMOELASTICITY WITHOUT ENERGY DISSIPATION IN ANISOTROPIC MATERIALS

Abstract: In this paper we study the linear thermoelasticity theory without energy dissipation in a homogeneous and anisotropic solid. We derive a complete set of governing equations in terms of the displacement and the thermal displacement fields only and establish the uniqueness of solution of an initial boundary value problem in terms of displacement and thermal displacement. |
