Abstract: The effect of thermal radiation on the natural
convection flow past an impulsively started infinite vertical plate in a
rotating fluid is investigated in the form of exact solution by applying Laplace
transformation technique. The optically thin radiation limit is considered and
the working fluid is taken to have Prandtl numbers 7.0 and 100.0 and the effects of
varying the radiation parameter F, the
variation of Grashof number G,
rotation parameter and time are discussed.
