Conventional methods for making approximation of the response of a fuzzy controller, present the problem of generating very irregular fuzzy partitions in such a way that the resulting fuzzy membership functions cannot represent logical concepts and fuzzy rules have nothing to do with a knowledge base. In this paper, we propose a new procedure in which a good approximation is preserved, being regular the inherent fuzzy partition of the considered universe of discourse.
