SOME NOTES ON HM DIVERGENCE-FREE MULTIWAVELETS

Abstract:
In this paper, some remarks are made for Hardin-Marasovich (HM) divergence-free multiwavelets on  We firstly prove that the projection of divergence-free vector fields with tangential boundary conditions is divergence-free and then give divergence-free scaling functions. Secondly, we show a fast algorithm for divergence-free wavelet coefficients. Finally, we conclude that the initial approximation of the incompressible velocity fields obtained through spectral method can be computed exactly and easily, due to the simple forms of HM dual wavelets. |
