Abstract: We
prove the existence of symmetric positive solutions to the multi-point boundary-eigenvalue
problem
where
l is
a small positive parameter, by using Schauder fixed point theorem, and we
characterize values of l for
which this eigenvalue problem has at least one symmetric positive solution.
