Abstract: In this paper, we determine the transient temperature,
displacement function and the stress functions with the help of generalised
integral transform technique on the outer curved surface of a thin circular
plate defined as The solutions are obtained in the
form of infinite series by introducing the so-called pseudo-steady temperature
distribution function introduced by Ölc’er [J. Math. Phys. 46(1) (1967),
99-106]. The suitability of detailed numerical computation under suitable
initial and boundary conditions are also discussed.
