Abstract: Bentonites are one of the constituent materials in artificial geobarriers of industrial and household waste storages. Both structural changes and chemical suffusion in bentonites in their contact with acidic chemical solutions affect the porosity and the filtration coefficient of the geobarrier material. These changes should be considered in predictive mathematical models of filtration in heterogeneous porous media with thin inclusions. The article discusses in terms of mathematical modeling the required modifications of the conjugation conditions for heads in the problem of filtering chemicals through geobarrier. |
