Abstract: Frames have very important and interesting properties which make them very useful in the characterization of function spaces, signal and image processing, sampling theory and many other fields. An important tool for the construction of tight wavelet frames on local fields of positive characteristic is the tool of unitary extension principle. In this paper, we continue the study based on the extension principles and give an explicit construction of a class of tight affine frames as well as quasi-affine wavelet frames on local fields of positive characteristic. |
