This paper is mainly designed for the theoretical investigation of temporal intuitionistic fuzzy sets (TIFSs) with some popular distances, similarity measures and correlation between TIFSs. Some numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the TIFS approach. Using TIFSs as a tool, a distance based approach of medical diagnosis is done.
